
Ramla Ali is a professional boxer with an undefeated record of 4-0 and has competed professionally in London’s Wembley Arena twice, Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas and Madison Square Gardens, New York City.
Ramla helped set up the Somali Boxing Federation in Mogadishu, Somalia, leading to her becoming the first female in history to compete for the country. The first to win an intentional gold medal in the 2019 during the African Championships (Botswana) alongside other international medals. The first male or female to compete at major championships including All African Games (Morocco) and World Championships (India) and the first boxer in history, male or female to compete for the country of Somalia at The Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020).
As an amateur she competed in over 75 fights across 25 countries. Including winning gold and silver medals in Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark and Botswana. In 2015 she won the novice national championships in England, the 2016 Elite English national championships (ABA’s), the 2016 English Title Series Belt and the 2016 Great British Championships.
